Nepal U19 booked their place in the semi-final of ACC Youth Asia Cup 2017 after Bangladesh U19 beat India U19 by 8 wicket. Three time tittle conqueror India should make their way back to home with two losses in three matches.Sandeep Lamichhane’s excellence help Nepal U19 to seal their second victory of the ACC Youth Asia Cup 2017 and make their way to semi-final. Nepal won the match against Malaysia by 8 wickets on rain affected match.

Rain interrupted the play and match got shorten to 24 overs each side. Winning the toss Nepal decided to bowl first on overcast condition. Nepal bundled out Malaysian inning on 45 runs in 15.3 over. In outlining Malaysia on very tiny total, Nepal’s prime spinner Sandeep Lamichhane grabbed his five-wicket haul yet again. He send five Malaysian batsman to the pavilion in his bowling spell of 4.3 over with expensing just 8 runs. Dipendra Airee and Shahab took two two wicket each. Anil Kumar Sah too managed to got a wicket. In reply Nepal bang some big shot and finished it off in just 5.2 over with the loss of two wicket. Thanks to Anil Sah blasting inning of 26 runs in 15 balls which included 3 sixes and a four. Skipper Airee scored 12 runs off 3 balls which included 2 sixes. Nepal managed to took out two wins in their three group stage matches. With this Nepal will faced Group ‘B’ topper Afghanistan in second semi-final on November 17.
