UAE and Nepal sealed two remaining spots of ICC World Cup Qualifier 2018 to fulfill all required 10 teams quota.

UAE confirmed their spot in group ‘A’ with a thrilling win over Nepal in the final of recently concluded ICC World Cricket League Division II. Group ‘A’ consists of two-time world cup winning team West Indies followed by Ireland, PNG, Netherlands, and UAE. Nepal is placed in group ‘B’ where host Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Scotland, and Nepal will fight. Six associate nations are participating in this event. With Netherlands already guaranteed their ODI status after topping ICC WCLC 2015-17. Top three sides among five contenders will fight out for ODI status. PNG and UAE are placed in group ‘A’ where Hong Kong, Scotland and Nepal is placed in group ‘B’.
