Nepal’s pace bowling spearhead, Sompal Kami, has been listed in draft list for Pakistan Super League 2019. Along with him, Sandeep Lamichhane is also very close to yet another international T20 franchise league.
As per today released PSL’s draft list, Sompal Kami has been drafted in silver category as foreign player for upcoming edition of PSL. He was one of the 11 players to play in Nepal’s first ever One Day International match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018. Sompal has 52 List-A wickets in his tally along with 336 runs in his 37th appearance. His ability to add some handy runs down the order is what stand out the most in T20 format.
Sompal’s countryman and emerging rock star of world cricket, Sandeep Lamichhane, is also listed in PSL’s draft list in gold category as foreign player. Starting with Indian Premier League, Lamichhane, has already participated in Global T20 League, Caribbean Premier League this year. Spin sensational Lamichhane is also set to represent Melbourne Stars in upcoming Australia’s Big Bash League.
The PSL Draft for the fourth edition of the tournament is scheduled to take place in Islamabad on November 20, 2018.
