ICC World Twenty20 Europe Qualifier 2018 is all set to commence from 30th August in Netherlands.

Qualification matches for World Twenty20 began on 26th February in South American nation, Argentina. This is the largest number of teams going to take part in qualification cycle as 62 nations started it with an eye for a spot in World Twenty20 2020, which is scheduled to be held in Australia. This idea came to practice from this event with a purpose of circulating competitive matches for all the members.

18th nations participating tournament (ICC World Twenty20 Europe Qualifier) is the first qualification phase of Europe. Four cricketing giants of Europe (England, Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands) already confirmed their place in final round of qualification by the virtue of their participation in last edition of ICC World Twenty20. 5 Days long tournament is divided in 3 group with 6 sides on each group. Top 2 sides from each group will advance to final round of Europe qualifier. 6th nation participating final round of Europe qualifier will take place on 2019 with a spot for ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier 2019.

There is tough time ahead for every participating teams as they are heading to busy schedule of competitive cricket of 5 days. Denmark and Jersey are favorite sides of Group A and B respectively but they are sure to get hard fight by raw faces of cricketing world. Total of 45 matches will be played under four playing days.
